We apologize for the inconvenience. We recommend the crown of the hat be knit as follows:

Crown decreases (change to dpns when needed):

Work next 2 rounds of cable pattern (rounds 6-7).
Next round: *Work 7 sts in pattern, k2tog, p1; rep from * around. (63 sts)
Next round: *Work 6 sts in pattern, k2tog, p1; rep from * around. (56 sts)
Next round: *Work 5 sts in pattern, k2tog, p1; rep from * around. (49 sts)
Next round: *Work 4 sts in pattern, k2tog, p1; rep from * around. (42 sts)
Next round: *Work 4 sts in pattern, k2tog; rep from * around. (35 sts)

Continue last round 3 more times, working 1 less st before decreases, until 14 sts remain.

Next round: K2tog across.  (7 sts)

Cut yarn, thread through rem 7 sts
Pull tight and weave in ends on WS.

The error is located in Row 3 and should read:

The baby cable pattern should read:

Row 1: (WS) K2, *p2, k2; rep from * to last stitch.
Row 2: P2, *k2, p2; rep from * to last stitch.
Row3: Rep row 1.
Row 4: P2, *k2tog but leave stitch on needle, insert right needle back into the first stitch, knit this stitch, drop both sts from neede, p2; rep from * to last stitch.

Star Struck Purse - Yarn Requirement Change

The Star Struck Purse featured in the special section of Creative Knitting, Crochet, and Bead Unique January 2006 calls for Diva Vivacious in the pattern. The correct yarn to make the purse as shown is Diva Purplexed.

Lacy Poncho in Bamboo - Yarn Requirement Change

The number of balls required to make this garment is 5, not 3.

Party Night - Correction for sleeve instructions

Original instructions were:

...Continue in stockinette, dec 1 st at each edge every 8 (8, 6, 6, 6) rows 15 (15, 17, 17, 20) times. 60 (60, 66, 66, 70) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 19 (19, 18, 18, 17)" from marker or desired length...."

Corrected instructions are as follows:

"Continue in stockinette, dec 1 st at each edge every 4th row. 22 (22, 25, 25, 27) times. 46(46, 50, 50, 56) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 19 (19, 18, 18, 17)" from marker or desired length..."

Please also note that the schematic for the sleeves has changed. The measurements for the shoulder seam are 24 (24, 26, 26, 28)".
