Meet our Instructors

G.K. Green lives in Phoenix. A knitter for more than two decades, her designs and classes center around knitting that is texturally challenging including reversivle stitch patterns, modular construction techniques, I cord and double knitting. Georgia firmly  believes that circular knitting needles are our friends, that it is not unreasonable to fill the guest-bedroom closet of one’s home with a stash of yarn to knit “one day soon” and that sometimes even the most painstakinly crafted gauge/tension swatches just can’t be trusted.

Veronica “Pinka” Peck has been bead crocheting for more than 10 years and has been teaching since 2000. She taught for 3 years at CGOA’s Chain Link conference and has taught more than 200 students the beauty of bead crochet. She has been staying local for the past 7 years to concentrate on raising her tw0 kids.  You can see more of Pinka’s work in her Etsy Store  and her website Bead Crochet. Pinka teaches locally and offers private classes.

Jonelle Beck is the creative force behind SWTC. She is an author, designer, and force to be reckoned with! When not working, she is found on the sidelines of a soccer game or hanging with her 2 tween daughters.

Jan Clark was introduced to fiber arts at a young age. Her grandmother taught me how to crochet when she was 6 or 7 years old.   She learned  to knit at 8 and loved it right away. A beautiful lace shawl that her  grandmother created with her tiny steel crochet hooks and thin, thin crochet thread cemented her life long infatuation with fiber arts. She joins the SWTC girlz to share her love of lace among the fun classes she has designed for you. Jan’s website is Lace Yarnz. She features SWTC yarns showcased in her own lace designs. Jan teaches around the valley at stores like SAINT22 and offers private classes.
