Jonelle Beck from SWTC has teamed up with Sutro Media to create a Yarn Store Locator app. We’re hoping to launch this awesome project in just a few months and want to include your store. THIS IS NOT JUST FOR SWTC CUSTOMERS. This project is for ALL yarn stores. While of course, we always hope you will choose our yarns, Jonelle is creating this app to represent the industry.
THERE IS NO COST TO BE INCLUDED.
To be included, we need to confirm information about your store and acquire pictures. App users love pictures so pictures are critical to our project. In fact, we can’t include you without them – and we really want to show your store off in the best way possible.
Here is what we need:
Pictures: Please send the largest format and highest resolution possible.
- Picture of your store front
- Picture of YOU (and key staff if you want). We really want to show you in action teaching, knitting, or busy in your store. Pick something colorful, warm , and inviting.
- A picture inside your store
- A signature project or pattern available at your store if you have one. This of course is optional but we think fun to include.
- Your logo
- AND ANY OTHERS YOU THINK REPRESENT YOU FABULOUSLY!

ONLINE STORES:
Jonelle will capture a screen shot of your website and include your store with ONLINE STORE as a subheading under the store name. Please send any pictures that capture you in action -perhaps with a pile of yarn, a project, or packing an order. There is still so much you can do to showcase yourself and give a warm fuzzy to prospects.

Each store will have a write up in a few paragraphs. I will wordsmith this info to fit our project but please share information about your store that defines you. It is the classes? Teachers? Projects? A creative environment? Or the yarns you stock? What makes your store special?
More ideas: Farm environment, art yarns, your own signature line of yarns or patterns? What differentiates you?
